Heading out of Chester on Hoole Road and onto the A56, you will reach Mickle Trafford and the surrounding district villages of Hoole Bank, Bridge Trafford, Wimbolds Trafford and Picton. All approximately 4 miles from Chester City Centre. 

There is a village store in Mickle Trafford itself and eateries include the Toby Carvery on Warrington Road, The Chesterfields Country Pub and Dining and Meadow Lea Farm Café, hidden away down Station Road.
