Move in day made easy
Inspections & maintenance
We will carry out an inspection after three months of you living in the property and every six months thereafter. Please do not ‘save up’ maintenance issues, as it is your responsibility to let us know as soon as possible so that there is no deterioration to the property that is caused by you not telling us.
On vacation of the property, we will carry a check out and prepare a check out report for both you and the Landlord. If there are any ‘proposed’ deductions from the deposit, these will be discussed with both you and the Landlord and we can mediate any negotiations that may need to take place. If you are happy with the final check out report and proposed deductions (if any) then your deposit will be returned within 10 days. If an agreement cannot be made between you and the Landlord about any proposed deductions then the case may then be referred to the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), who will act as independent adjudicators. All evidence will be put to them and their decision is final.
