Waverton Village is located just past Christleton, about 3.5 miles from Chester City Centre. The Village has a post office, a takeaway, hairdresser, a number of shops, The Black Dog public house and the famous Crocky Trail adventure trail! 

Waverton Community Primary School is located in the village and both Christleton High School and Abbey Gate College are just a short drive away, although many Children walk or get the bus to Christleton High School from Waverton.

Film nights & pizza canal boat

The Shropshire Union Canal runs from Chester (previously called the Chester Canal) through the Village and on certain occasions the local community arranges film nights and there is a pizza canal boat some Fridays!
